Clinical Advances in Pediatrics Symposium (CAPS) is focused on providing the latest advances in pediatric research and evidence-based practice to improve the quality of children’s health care. This annual learning event emphasizes practical application of current concepts that pediatricians, pediatric specialists, family physicians, and advanced practice providers involved in the care of children and adolescents can apply in their practice.  

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (0.75 hours), ABP MOC Part 2 (0.75 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (0.75 hours)

1. Review the state of pediatric COVID-19
2. Review signs and symptoms of pediatric COVID-19
3. Identify when to test for COVID-19
4. Examine anticipatory guidance related to pediatric COVID-19
5. Determine when therapeutics for COVID-19 should be instituted

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].

Children's Mercy Kansas City reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
