Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Discuss and understand the increasing pediatric exposures to opioids.
  2. Describe treatment of both acute opioid intoxication as well as opioid withdrawal in the pediatric population.
  3. Identify steps physicians can take to prevent opioid exposures and/or deaths due to opioids.
