GROL 1/25/2024 - Pediatric Implications of the Opioid Epidemic

Local and national leaders present pediatric topics in their area of specialty during this weekly series.

1. Discuss the increase in pediatric patients' exposure to opioids.
2. Describe treatment of both acute opioid intoxication as well as opioid withdrawal in the pediatric population.
3. Identify steps providers can take to prevent opioid exposures and/or deaths due to opioids.
