Overview

The APP Preceptor Workshop is available to APPs that are currently in the Transition to Practice Program as well as a limited number of APPs interested in taking the course.

Participants that meet the requirements for successful completion will receive 6.25 contact hours

Requirements for successful completion:

Attend the entire course.

Participate in group discussions.

Complete the evaluation.

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Apply evidence-based teaching strategies to effectively mentor and evaluate advanced practice nursing students and APRNs new to practice in the clinical setting.
