Interpreting for the Fetal Health Center and NICU - Live Class

This live workshop will provide an overview of what an interpreter needs to know when working in a Fetal Health Center and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  The material has been reviewed and informed by CMH staff.  The $70 workshop will include an hour of interpreting practice centered around concepts and scenarios related to these areas. 

CEAP Instructional Hours (3.00 hours), CEAP Performance Based (1.00 hours)

1. Discuss what the Fetal Health Center and NICU are and why they are important.
2. Explore common vocabulary used when discussing Fetal Health & NICU
3. Review common procedures & testing that are done in the Fetal Health & NICU settings as well as conditions that can be seen in Fetal Health Care & NICU.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
