Overview

Clinical Advances in Pediatrics Symposium (CAPS) is focused on providing the latest advances in pediatric research and evidence-based practice to improve the quality of children’s health care. This annual learning event emphasizes practical application of current concepts that pediatricians, pediatric specialists, family physicians, and advanced practice providers involved in the care of children and adolescents can apply in their practice.

Children's Mercy Hospital  designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 18.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn 16.75 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

Nursing Contact Hours:

Participants who meet the requirements for successful completion will receive up to 17.25 nursing contact hours.

Children’s Mercy Kansas City is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
