Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will:

  1. Self-report an increase in knowledge related to the care of patients with congenital heart disease and arrhythmias.
  2. Identify one strategy that can be implemented in their clinical practice regarding the care of patients with congenital heart disease and arrhythmias to improve patient outcomes.

  • Complete the post-program attendance/evaluation 
Children's Mercy Hospital is accredited by the Missouri State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Children's Mercy Hospital  designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 8.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

 

ACCME

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME requirement of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery's Maintenance of Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABTS credit.

Nursing Provider Approval Statement:
Participants who meet the successful completion requirements will receive up to 8.00 nursing contact hours. Attendance at a minimum of two presentations is required for nursing contact hours and participants may only submit for credit of presentations they attended.

Children's Mercy Kansas City is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
